Our DIY shed kits give you hands-on control during assembly. Build our kits as they come, or use them as starting points for special projects. Each kit includes the materials for the basic structure, giving you the flexibility to choose and purchase your own foundation, paint, roofing, and other finishing materials separately.
Window Selection: Windows are optional add-ons for most of our kits.
Paint Flexibility: Our kits come primed, giving you the flexibility to purchase paint separately and apply the paint color or finish that fits your project.
Foundation Flexibility: Build on our FortressFloor™ system or pour your own concrete slab separately.
Door and Window Placement: Some of our kits allow you to place doors and windows in different locations during assembly.

Shipping and delivery will vary depending on the product. Smaller kits are shipped from Best Barns. For larger kits, we work with local home improvement stores near you to coordinate lumber sourcing and logistics. Contact us for more information.
Do I need to have prior building experience?
Our kits are designed for amateur builders, but you will need to be comfortable using basic tools and following detailed instructions. For some builds, having helpers will make the process much easier.
What is included with your kits?
Different kits come with different parts, but typically our kits include only the materials necessary to build the basic structure. Windows are optional for most kits.
